Before Whitaker can ask why Robby thinks that, he feels it: almost like a feather, Robby's fingers land on the curls at the nape of his neck.
"That haircut looks good on you."
And Robby's voice is soft, like someone trying to rescue an injured bird without scaring it.
A shiver runs down Dennis' spine, and the sound escaping his mouth makes him blush. He freezes.
