“You guys ready? I don’t know if you want to be in the room for this. Might - I don’t know. This might not work and we might all explode.” He stood up and frowned up at his friends, hands on his hips.
“We’s with you till the ends, boss.” Jongler put a hand on the top of his head, Pluey agreeing with a soft and warm string of notes as he wormed his way into Battat’s arms for a hug.
Battat snorted weakly and wormed his way out, walking over to the massive TV on the wall. He glanced over his shoulder at Tenna and let out a shaky breath.
He pressed the power button, and everything lit up.
