Shoto Todoroki, is constantly being bothered by his father about when he was going to find a girl with a smart quirk. Sure, Endeavor apologized to him for the years of abuse and wanted to be better, but he still needed lots of improvement.
So, when the opportunity presents itself and suddenly Bakugo needs a boyfriend, Todoroki jumps at the opportunity to get his dad and the press off his back. It’s also a plus that he’s hopelessly smitten for Bakugo.
