Summary
Violet Sorrengail is on thin ice with her publishing company. One year after a devastating breakup, writer's block grips her. The blank page taunts. Her series finale languishes, unwritten and overdue. In a Hail Mary to preserve Violet's career and reputation, her literary agent offers his unoccupied winter home in the mountains. Suddenly, Violet is saying goodbye to her life in Philadelphia and is heading to Chattanooga to find inspiration and write her book. But when she runs into her ex-boyfriend and learns he also lives in Chattanooga, Violet is forced into a whirlwind of self-reflection and flashbacks from her love story with Xaden Riorson.
