Summary
Each chapter follows a different chapter in Eva and Ryland's life together. Beginning with their first interaction and ending with their First interaction as Empty Nesters.
Based off of A comment I saw on a TikTok:
"somewhere there's a universe where they met under different circumstances, met up for coffee, got married, bought a house by some kind of shore, adopted a kid or two, and the only inkling Grace has of this life is when they talked about the trolly problem once while making dinner."
(Originally was going to end with one of their funerals, but im now too attached to the silly little couple and couldnt bring myself to build up to one of thier deaths (It was going to be Ryland's) (Becasue I hate myself and want to make Eva suffer for some reason))

Simon has been streaming for just over two-and-a-half hours at this point, jumping around the Minecraft world he has been playing on for the past few streams, when his phone vibrates aggressively on his desk. He doesn't answer the first time. He usually doesn’t when he is streaming, but when it begins to vibrate again seconds later, he knows something is up. He gives a quick glance at chat, before picking his phone up from his desk. Ryland’s contact name stares up at him from the screen and Simon can’t help the small pit that forms in his stomach.

Summary
Lucas sits beside Max every day that she is in the hospital.
After waking up, catching up with everyone, and being filled in on all of the bullshit that went down, Max is in bad shape and in need of extensive physical therapy. Prom is 6 months away. Max refuses to be wheechair bound for one of the most important days of her highschool life.
Or: I, as someone with chronic pain and mobility issues, was upset by the lack of disability representation in Stranger Things season 5 after a perfect set-up for a disabled character and decided to take measures into my own hands hehehe.

The stars were dying.
No, actually…
The stars died.They had looked to the heavens, watching their saving grace travel for years before one day, it just disappeared. Despite humanity's best efforts, their Hail Mary never made it to Tau Ceti. Factions of humans left Earth, a last-ditch effort to survive. And they watched as the stars quietly disappeared and solar systems grew cold. Humans turned into scavengers, finding any and all resources the corpse of the universe had to offer. With each century, it became even more apparent that the light of humanity would fade like the stars if they didn’t find their salvation. Perhaps life thriving in an ocean of blood had the answers.
OR
BloodyMary where Ryland Grace is subjected to the horrors of the world of Iron Lung, and Simon is his savior. I’ve read a lot of healing, comfort stories where Simon somehow lands on Erid but have yet to see the reverse, sooooooo why not try my hand and traumatize the sunshine character a little bit more <3 I promise I won't hurt him…too much :)
