Summary
After finding a dog abandoned by the riverside Sakura calls Kakashi-sensei to help her save him, nevermind the fact that they've barely spoken since Sasuke defected and Naruto left the village to train. When Kakashi-sensei decides to adopt the dog, Sakura asks if she can visit him sometimes, and restarts a tentative friendship between her and her ex-sensei.
Team 7 is over, Sakura hasn't seen her teammates in years, and she was never Kakashi-sensei's favourite anyways. So why isn't he treating her like the annoyance she's always believed she was?

He tried to imagine it, how it'd look like if the boy prodigy would ever fail in something. Something like a messed up spell - something that would disappoint all those high expectations in utter perfection and proved the other kids right in their pettiness.
Would Olruggio cry if that happened? Would big, glistening tears well up in those clear, blue eyes, making them all shiny until they spilled over and trailed down his cheeks? Would he be an ugly crier like some of the younger kids, when they tripped while running around and scraped their knees all bloody? He was so pale, he'd probably blush bright red all over, at least.
And how would Utowin comfort him then?
Maybe he'd imitate his mom; take the other boy in his arms and embrace him tightly. Murmur some sweet words into his ears and press little light kisses on his soft hair and cheeks and...
