Before Tae-ui could respond, Ilay closed the distance between them, pulling Tae-ui into a soul-consuming kiss. It was fierce and demanding, like Ilay was trying to prove something—staking his claim, making it clear that there would be no running this time. The kiss was overwhelming, drawing Tae-ui in, as if Ilay’s very being was pouring into him.

Till gave the paper a little shake. “C’mon, princess,” he teased, like his own words didn't have his heart racing. “Please and thank you — you really need me to teach you how to use your manners?”
A muscle jumped in Ivan’s jaw. His gaze flicked from the paper to Till’s grin, then to the floor. “...Thank you.”
“Thank youuuuu….?” he trailed off.
Ivan’s shoulders hiked up around his ears. Till didn't think he’d ever seen Ivan this embarrassed in his life. He was enjoying every second of it. He wished he could pull out his phone to take a picture — or fifty — without Ivan trying to kill him for it. “Thank you, Till.”
till hasn't seen ivan in over a decade, not since the older boy left for college and they drifted apart. now till's got the role as executive assistant to the ceo of anakt co., and till spends most of his waking hours up close and personal with an older, more serious, more perpetually exhausted version of ivan.
till doesn't give much of a shit about the job itself. ivan clearly won't take care of himself, so till will take care of him whether ivan likes it or not.

Goosebumps settle on Yuuta's skin as yet another cold wind makes it through the cracks in his walls. Maybe he should have his dad take a look at it the next time he comes over. As his eyes reach the bottom of the page, inching closer and closer to the end of the chapter, three sudden knocks against Yuuta’s front door startle him.
A soft gasp escapes his lips, heart thudding in his chest. Did he hear that right? He strains his ears to try and make out any other unusual sounds, but only the howling of the wind answers his silent question. Thinking his mind was playing tricks on him, Yuuta sits back in his chair, his focus back on the final page of the chapter. He laments having to put away the book, purposely stalling to stretch out the moment, when two more knocks ring through the cabin.

Summary
It was love at first sight. For Toge, anyways. And at first, he was okay with waiting for Yuuta to realize his feelings slowly. Honestly, being thrust into the jujutsu world so abruptly, he probably didn't have a lot of time to focus on love, although Toge couldn't deny there was a small, burning pit in his stomach about it.
They were obviously soulmates, so Yuuta should have realized that the second they locked eyes, just like Toge did. Yet he didn't. But, despite that knowledge gnawing at the back of his mind every second of every day, Toge loved Yuuta. He loved him so, so much, that he'd forgive this. It was fine. Eventually, he'd realize.
