“You can stop this,” the officer says again. “Give me just one answer, and we'll let your friend here take a break.”
Dick laughs, wet and breathless. “Don’t.”
He turns his head as much as the cuffs allow, finding Wally and Roy through the white glare of the lights.
“Promise me,” he says, voice shaking now. “Don’t answer. I’ll be fine.”
They hit him again when no one speaks.

Robin, Kid Flash and Red Arrow go on a covert mission to infiltrate a foreign dictatorship. Needless to say, it goes very wrong.
Almost no plot, just whump.

A loud sniff was heard in the room.
Bruce turned his attention from where he was arranging the medicine back to his son.
“Don’t do that,” he warned.
Dick slumped into his bed in defeat, letting out a tired sigh. He looked exhausted too; his eyes were red and half-closed, his slightly pale complexion contrasting with his reddened nose. He shivered lightly and clutched his blanket tightly around himself, resembling a burrito child. The boy had caught a cold, which wasn’t surprising—it was mid-January, and he still insisted on wearing light clothing despite Bruce’s protests and Alfred’s vain attempts to get him to wear something warmer.
His miserable expression was the only thing stopping the billionaire from saying something like ‘I told you so’.
