“People were killed,” Yuji said and gestured to the swaying ceiling above them. “If anyone else was going to die, it would have been while we were stuck waiting for you to get here. What are you even inspecting for?”
“...Pests.”

Or, in a world where Itadori Wasuke never died, Yuji has been working as a firefighter, blissfully unaware of curses. He takes care of his grandfather, helps out around the neighborhood, and saves cats from trees in a quiet corner of Sendai.
Megumi, on the other hand, is tired of the jujutsu world. When he comes across a young man too good to be true, he falls for him. And Megumi is perfectly happy keeping Yuji in the dark about jujutsu to preserve their small slice of normalcy.
However, Kenjaku never planned on letting Sukuna's Vessel live in peace forever. Soon enough, his plans would come together, and no meddling sorcerers were going to stand between him and his tools.

When he looked back up, the bus was drifting over the line again, but this time they were almost fully into the opposite lane. A shiver went down Grant’s spine and he pulled aside his headphones to stand up. From where he sat, he should at least be able to see his coach’s baseball cap.
He only looked in time to see Coach Darnell slump over the wheel limply. There was a small circular hole in the window in front of him and to the window beside him—there was a spray of red.
The bus drifted further. Grant only had time to think, No way this is real.
The front left tire dropped off the road.

Summary
Grant is in love with Marco. Unfortunately, following the awful events of the party, Grant's strange habits become a source of tension between them. As time goes on and Marco learns more and more about who his boyfriend really is, he's forced to decide where his lines truly lie when it comes to Grant.

After seventy years of tyranny, Emperor Garmadon has been defeated by the ninja during the rebellion's coup. In the aftermath, Ninjago falls apart into factions, headed by the Rebel Council and the Imperial Governors, each group desperate to gain control of the city in the power vacuum left behind.
Kai, after being captured by the rebellion and cut off from his powers, is tasked with bringing the people together before it's too late. Nya seems to be on his side, but with his old imperial allies imprisoned or missing, and the other ninja having complicated feelings about him, it's begun to feel like she's the only one. And if the threat of the annihilation of humanity wasn't enough motivation for him, he also has Lloyd's safety to worry about, whom the rebels only promise to continue to keep safe if Kai follows their commands.
Meanwhile, Lloyd is being carted across Ninjago by his malicious fiancée and her crew of bastards—with the ominous promise that his father is looking forward to seeing him.

Megumi never wanted to be out to anyone, so now he needs to pretend he's 'getting better' in order for his family to get off his back and not cut him off.Yuji and Megumi meet at the camp, and it messes up their plans immediately.
