Summary
Ava Sharpe is standing in front of the blackboard, chalk in her right hand and her notebook in her left. She has her blue cardigan on over her white shirt, and when she looks up at Sara who just burst through the door, her glasses slip down her nose. She fixes them back with her right hand and the chalk powder stains her hair in the process. The sight punches Sara in the guts. Hence, no breath.
“Sharpe. I have some major news. [...] It’s about the FIIST!” She makes a victorious fist gesture to emphasize what she means, as if Ava is supposed to get what the hell she’s talking about.
“Wow, you move fast. I guess good for you, if she’s into that kind of thing,” Ava’s frowning at something on the board now, she scratches her chin in a pensive manner and the chalk marks her skin there.
Sara loses herself in the movement for a second. “No, Ava, you’re not getting it. The Female Inter-faculty Indoor Soccer Tournament."//
Or, Sara's a Chemistry PhD candidate; Ava is a Physics Professor.
Sara's soccer team is short one faculty member, so now she's trying to get Ava to play. One small, insignificant problem: Ava seems to be physically unable to stand on a soccer field without PTSD flashbacks.Bookmarked by Captain_USS_Avalance

Summary
Star City knows her well. It holds her heart in its hands; her best days, her worst days, it knows the lengths of her. The day she leaves it, she hopes she’ll never have to come back.
She turns around and it happens, right then.
Sara Lance is ten feet from her, torn up jeans and messy hair. Ava’s three-piece suit feels so out of place, and yet it sticks to her skin like armor. Sara Lance looks at her, recognition sparking in her eyes; a hand goes up, a small wiggling gesture. Ava’s eyes fill with tears.
No, this city’s not changed; it still knows her far too well, it still does not flinch if it has to break her heart.
Ava does not wave back quickly enough. Sara walks on, and that’s the end of it.//
Or, Ava goes back to her hometown after 10 years. Everything's different, but somehow nothing's changed.

Summary
******ALPHA/OMEGA/BETA STORY******IF YOU ARE NOT A FAN OF OMEGAVERSE PLEASE AVOID*********
Ava had come to earth to bring her brother back to Ossory, something he had avoided the past few years. The planet Ossory had a deal with Earth that they could visit and help with failing infrastructure in their world and some Ossorian’s had found themselves fond of the new world and opted to stay longer than others. Ava was not one of those, when she had been here two years ago on her first visit, she found it to be mind-numbingly boring and humans to be not only weak but quite unbearable. She had found nothing on Earth inviting what so ever, but their sire had fallen ill, and their mother had called for Nate to return home. Problem was Ava was having issues getting him to agree with coming home even going as far as to say she could bring him back after their sire’s death.

Summary
“She was so beautiful. If Ava was capable of missing anything wherever it was she was going next, she knew she would miss Sara.
Ava met Sara’s gaze with a sad, tightlipped smile. It was tinged with all the bittersweet feelings coursing through her.
Sara’s smirk faded away as her forehead scrunched in confusion at Ava’s expression. Her eye’s searched Ava’s face, then slid down to where her hand pressed under her suit jacket. Sara’s eyes grew wide as she saw the red starting to soak through her white shirt.”
Or:
A canon divergence post-Beebo Day hurt/comfort fic that my wife said, and I’m quoting here, “is going to kick the fandom in the feels.” My bad guys. Happy endings, though, I promise.
