Summary

His world is calming down again despite the crazed adventures that Ichigo seems to constantly be having. While he sits pondering where life will take him next, he is greeted by a messenger. Except, is it? His life is quickly thrown into chaos when he is taken by an unknown force. Will anyone notice that he is missing? Will anyone come to find him? These are questions he doesn't want to think about, and would rather believe that somebody will, but, he knows he has been a burden for a long time. What if they decide to just let him disappear and that be that for the captain of the 13th squad?

It’s minutes before their opening time when the first customer steps in.
They're still standing by the door, though Tanjirou is too busy fetching his apron from under the counter and throwing it on haphazardly to take a good look at them. He breathes in deep after it’s properly tied behind his back, pauses when he catches the scent of cologne laced with the smell of fresh bread permeating the air, and lets it sit in his lungs as he finally looks up.
Just past the threshold is possibly the most beautiful man Tanjirou has ever seen in his life.

Being raised by a family of Beta’s in the mountains was once the norm for Tanjirou. It had been almost all he’d known. Sure he is aware of Alpha’s and Omega’s alike, but what is one to do when the one who caught his eye is but a fiery and passionate Alpha. One who has little to no understanding of Beta courting and social cues, finding Tanjirou just to be silly.
Being raised by a well off family of Alpha’s and Omega’s, Beta’s are seen as a confusing and anti-social bunch, usually kept to themselves. So what is Rengoku Kyoujurou to do when the one he wishes to bond with is such a kind and honest Beta. One who finds his way of courting to be gestures of friendship and nothing more, if not crass sometimes.
