Paul didn’t want to use the word intimidating to describe Percy, per say, but Paul had spent a lot of his relationship with Sally being intimated by Percy for a number of reasons. One, within his first conversation with Sally, Paul knew exactly where any romantic partner would fall on Sally’s list of loved ones and that was squarely below her son. Absolutely fair enough, but that did mean Paul spent those early days before meeting the kid knowing that one wrong move, one bad vibe with this kid, and he had the power to end the whole relationship. As everyone knew his name and his feats, they also knew his fate. A fate worse than any punishment Hades could offer. A fate so horrible that not even Zeus would want it for him. It was a fate no hero ever faced, but the one the greatest of all received.
It was during the quest through Ancient Lands with the rest of seven when many said they saw their last glimpse of Percy Jackson as he tumbled into a deep, dark chasm with Annabeth Chase in his arms. No doubt, unimaginable horrors awaited the two at the bottom, but no one ever really knew what all they faced together as they made the impossible trek through Tartarus. The only thing they did know was that when the two reached the Doors of Death in the center of Tartarus, brave, sixteen-year-old Percy Jackson shoved the love of his life through those elevator doors and sacrificed himself to holding the elevator button for twelve long minutes.
In which it takes Percy just a bit longer to get out of Tartarus and all he wants to do is see Annabeth.

Summary
During a wonderful, romantic evening at home, Bucky surprises Steve by mentioning retirement.
Then during a mission, someone abducts Bucky. Again. Half-crazy with worry for his husband and rage at whoever has dared to touch him, Steve vows that this time is the last time. When he orders different mission parameters than any he's ever set before, he expects the rest of the Avengers to object, but to his surprise, they're on board.
Because they need to send a message: If you threaten the world, we'll protect it. If you threaten us, there's no one who can protect you.
Steve and the Avengers go on a rampage, destroying the kidnapper's base and rescuing Bucky before his mind can be stolen from him again. And once Steve gets Bucky back in his arms, he promises to take him home for good.- Language:

The elf has plenty of experience, of course, handling those greedy stares in poorly-lit taverns. More than once, he’s told Aragorn so—keep your senses, he’ll whisper in that sing-song Sindarin which is so out of place surrounded by raucous laughter and the overpowering stench of ale. I’ve done this for a thousand more years than you have.
It’s different, though. After all, Strider has no issue blending into shadowy corners when he wishes to be unseen. Legolas rarely has the same option, for even under a dark cloak, with his golden hair tied up as to be unseen, there’s a certain air about an elf that mortals hardly ever miss.

A close call in a seedy tavern seems enough to confirm Aragorn’s worst convictions about the cruelty of man.
