Summary
Long before they meet at Garreg Mach, Edelgard von Hresvelg and Byleth meet one another somewhere neither of them fully understands: a quiet throne room that only exists in their dreams.
For Byleth, it starts with a strange, sleeping, green-haired girl, and a door that should not exist. For Edelgard, trapped far away and growing up in a world far crueler than it should be, that door between their dreams slowly becomes something precious.
Night after night, year after year, the two continue to meet in these dreams. Sometimes they teach each other about their own little worlds. Sometimes they explore strange visions of the past. Sometimes they simply support one another after hard, waking days.
They grow up together in these small, stolen moments of sleep. Neither of them realizes that one day, they will meet again in the waking world, and that the fate of all Fódlan may rest on what they come to mean to one another.

Summary
Garreg Mach raises Byleth Eisner into something halfway between a monastery girl, a local legend, and a walking solution to other people’s problems. Along the way, she and Flayn gather a found family of girls from every corner of Fódlan, all held together by letters, the promises of the Goddess Tower, and the magic of one invisible green-haired friend that a young Byleth names Raina.
By the time the Officer’s Academy begins, some of those girls have been lost to silence, politics, grief, and worse.

Summary
Depending on who you asked in their increasingly chaotic party of mind flayer infected, Nyx the Red is a Drow woman of many different levels of insanity. She knows things that she should not. She has a four-legged brain pet named Us. She's a terrible musician (though she would argue some folk just don't have any taste). She's somehow a damn fine leader despite said insanity, or at least she's near enough a cult of personality to somehow keep their ragtag group of adventurers together and so-far successful.
A story where The Dark Urge is taken back to the beginning of her fight against The Absolute and her own inner demons, so this time she's going to make sure she and her band of misfits enjoy themselves while doing it.

Summary
Both Byleth and her mother survive thanks to the Archbishop, but Lady Rhea is acting strange. All Byleth's mother can think of is protecting her baby, so she flees the monastery and leaves her life, and her love Jeralt, behind.
Years later, Byleth has been raised on stories of her father: Jeralt the Blade Breaker. When she helps save a group of students who are attacked outside of her village, she is given the opportunity to attend Garreg Mach Monastery as a student- and the father she never knew is one of the teachers.
