Kidnapping a teenager from her father's funeral is way easier than trying to cure death, so he does exactly that. He gets a scan of your brain, but then realizes he can't bring himself to kill you. What follows that seemingly effortless venture turns out to have more to do with parenting and less with gaining a databank.
