Summary
So Dean's life hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows, boo-hoo, big whoop.
So he's pushing 40 and currently living under his brother's roof, his existence confined to a hundred square feet in their big city apartment, who cares?
And yeah, maybe he did drink himself out of house and literal home, costing him his two year relationship with Lisa, his Impala, and the legal freedom to drive for the next 10 months, but he's doing better now.
He's still got his job at Singer's Auto, his family, and his sobriety (even if it comes at the cost of feeling comfortable in his own skin).
Dean's made his peace with it. It's fine.
Who knew one little doggy DNA test could turn his world upside down?
Or
Miracle's long lost sister might be hell spawn, but at least her owner's hot.

Summary
Dean Winchester’s been camp manager of a science research station on the Alaskan tundra for thirteen years. Dean likes his job; fixing the camp trucks, troubleshooting the generators, keeping clueless undergrads and NSF bigwigs from walking into grizzly bears or getting lost in snowstorms — it’s all in a day’s work. It keeps him pretty busy, and this year his brother Sam's visiting too, so he's even busier. So it’s really not any of Dean’s business when some weirdo antisocial ornithologist sets up a tent a few miles away, a dark-haired blue-eyed guy who’s doing a “very long-term" study on birds or wings or something, and who never, ever takes off his big lumpy backpack. But then the new guy starts dropping by camp for coffee and... well, he’s not officially part of camp; he's not Dean’s responsibility; he’s really not Dean’s problem at all, but when a strange blizzard comes sweeping in, Dean gets worried and goes to check. Thing is, Dean's spent years in the sweeping vistas of the Arctic. He knows all about the midnight sun and the northern lights, the ice caves and avalanches, the rough-and-ready Haul Road truckers and the even rougher-and-readier wild animals. But even so, what he finds is much more than he bargained for.

Summary
He’s still not entirely sure how he ended up here, naked and with spread legs, on expensive cushions, in the king’s castle. He remembers waking up to loud voices only a few hours ago, and then two armed guards barged into his room, dragged him out of his bed and towards their horses.
He remembers his father’s neutral face as he held Dean’s screaming brother Sammy back from running after the guards, not even meeting Dean’s eyes as the men tied his hands behind his back, heaved him onto a horse’s back, and took him with them without any explanation whatsoever.
Now he's here, and he has no idea what will happen to him.
