Perhaps she could see where she'd put him. She was always a little better at reading Sora, he thought, than he was at reading himself. Because she'd smiled, catching his eye, and put a finger to her lips, like this, whatever this was, was their secret.

Riku didn't realize how loud he was breathing until the King asked, not unkindly, “Riku? Are you okay?”
Riku started to say he was, but then his voice caught.
