    I like the unsettling depiction of Azula and the progression of events after the day of the black sun. I'm increasingly intrigued by the tags and I'm nervous to see when they come in to play especially since Katara is a prisoner. Why would they have a water tribe prisoner marry the fire prince?

    This would've done numbers on Wattpad in the best way possible. I would've eaten this tf up furing quarantine. I really like the creative choices made. Every detail is intentional and accurately reflect characteristics of each character in canon. A fantastic example of this is the glaring polarity between the All Might's domain and the infernal court. It represents the contradictory hero ideologies. Anyway this fic is very self indulgent but it's well done so I actually really like it.

    I read this because of aloera and I didn't read the tags worth a damn so imagine my surprise when I see how absolutely FILTHY this fic is. So filthy in fact I physically had to look at the invisible camera and take a pause. On that note, it was fantastic. I love how selfish of a lover Bakugo is, but Kiri is straight eating it up. He's a cumslut (affectionately). I also like how quickly their power dynamics switch. When they start having sex, the playing field becomes more of a seesaw, if Bakugo was a huge shark and Kirishima was an emaciated snake. Bakugo obviously had the upper hand and waved it in front if Kiri like a goddamn plate of jello. Kiri was trying his best but he was so down bad he couldn't push back, not that he wanted to fr. The consent was dubious af but it was only iffy feeling because Kiri would slip into subspace so quickly, other than that he was enthusiastic so it didn't feel as dubious.

    10/10 would reread. The characterization was fire. I really like how they acknowledged the feud and use it to contextualize the surplus of anxiety and hesitation behind starting a relationship between the two men. The smut is also top tier. Fantastic doesn't even begin to describe it. Scorching if you will.

    The Polar Wishbearer by Advil

    I usually don't like isekai tropes but this one is a little more interesting because of the implied tragedy of Katara's longevity. Her living to witness everyone she's ever loved drop one by one is captivating so pairing it with the isekai trope makes it extremely bittersweet. As I was reading I was increasingly frustrated by Suki's disbelief, but then I put myself in her shoes. If I went to the beach with my friends and one of them said they were from the future after suddenly jumping into the ocean I would crash out too. But I also like that she eventually believed Katara after hearing her talk about the future. It was reasonable because she was able to hear the sincerity in Katara's voice and the gravity of her claims. Overall I really like the attention to detail. The part where Gran Gran brought up not eating breakfast and mentioning Katara doing the same is a clever way to demonstrate her true age. I really like the direction this fic is taking especially regarding Katara and Aang's relationship. The fic is doing a great job at setting up the potential for deviation from the main timeline by showing the journey instead of writing in the exasperation. There is looming development between the two unlike most Zutara fics where they simply make Katara break up with Aang for his foolishness.
