Summary
Marshall and Chase have been through it all in the long time they've known each other. There have been good times, as well as bad. They've laughed, cried, cheered one another up and generally been each other's pillar of support for as long as either of them care to remember.
Through having bad dreams, getting sick, having bad days, having intense arguments, having quiet nights to themselves or even getting into extreme danger, both pups have been side-by-side every step of the way. These are but a handful of their stories.

Summary
Her mouth is full of something. She swallows, unthinking, but it gradually fills up again. It takes her a few tries to realize it is blood. Her right eye is gushing blood.
Her mom is on the floor in the kitchen. Ragatha stares at her. Her mom’s face is scalded, brilliant red, and portions of it are already bubbling up with blisters. The jamming pot is dented on the floor, the glass jars smashed across the kitchen tile. The gas stove burns merrily away. A shard the length of Ragatha’s pinky finger protrudes from her mom’s throat. She is unmoving. She looks a little like a mannequin.
My mom is dead, Ragatha thinks, vaguely. It is not particularly believable. My mom is waiting, she thinks, and that seems more fitting.
Ragatha loses an eye. She has a couple of bigger problems.

After sacrificing himself for the rest of the members of the circus to escape, Jax suddenly finds himself outside of the game and back in the real world.
Through the confusion of how he got uot and ended up here, he sees the signs of the others having successfully escaped but when faced with them why does he thinks it's best they believe he died?
And how the hell does he prevent them from recognizing his voice?

Basically Jax is emo and sad and shit when he escapes the game and tries to stay away from the others but can't and when Pomni finds out she's both mad and relived and then fluff ensues.

Summary
Caine didn't reset their avatars, leaving Jax skinless and everyone else battered from whatever they went through. The moment Jax realized this, he ran away, like he always does.
He couldn't run away too far, however.
Pomni caught up to him, and even though she patched him up physically, while also proving to him that one of his worst fears won't come true, Jax also returned the favor, at least mentally, since she was already physically treated...
