Summary
I fiddle with the retirement form, frowning. This is it. This is everything I've worked for. The Fields, the promised escape from the grime and violence and corruption of Neo Angelo.
***********
Originally was written as the opening of a Steam review for Shadows Of Doubt, to try to capture the story the game creates in your mind as you play it (while acknowledging some of the jank of the game in a tongue-in-cheek way), by retelling a story about near the end of my first playthrough. Turns out there's not enough characters in the reviews to have a snippet of fanfic AND a good detailed review so I had to cut it, but it felt like a shame to waste it, even if it's just a quickly written little snippet, so...here it is instead!
Anyway, check out Shadows Of Doubt, it's in early access and definitely still has some work to be done but it's still amazing and there's nothing else quite like it.

Summary
Azmaria auditions for a singing scholarship at a conservatory in California--and wins. Joshua is frustrated she didn't tell him until after she won, but he wants to be supportive. But when it comes time for Azmaria to leave, it forces the pair to confront unvoiced things about themselves and each other that strains their relationship.
Originally meant to be a one-shot for 31_days that ballooned into its own thing that I now have to finish somehow. Rated teen for swearing, (probably) won't have content that's too bad.

Summary
It's Chrono's first Easter at the Order, and Rosette struggles to explain it to him.
Warning for a brief, violent flashback and some brief descriptions of grief and depression (because it's from Chrono's POV). Otherwise wholesome? Or as wholesome as a discussion about crucifixion can be?

Joshua takes care of Azmaria while she has a cold. Inspired by some tumblr post (but it's been years so I don't remember what it was, haha).

Summary
A priest at the Order suggests that Joshua should write in his journal to understand how he feels about Aion. It goes as well as you'd expect.

Summary
As a child, Aion was tired of being mistaken for Chrono all the time, so he cut his hair. Three moments where the pair find their appearances shifting as they struggle with their individuality and their choices.

Summary
Silly thing based on a tumblr post by imagineyouricon: "Imagine your icon shouting “DO IT FOR THE VINE” and then getting terribly injured on camera." My icon is Chrono, and I couldn't imagine him doing something like that without Aion or Rosette egging him on. This was the result.
Set pre-manga canon, assumes demons have Vine for the sake of the joke.

Summary
Joshua desperately seeks information on his sister at all costs, even going against Aion's wishes--which only serves to make Rizel hate him even more. Meant to provide some backstory for Acts 19-21 (and also references Act 47 and Volume 6).

Summary
Joshua thinks on part of a verse he's heard and questions how he's been told to think about his past. A short character study I quickly wrote for the fun of it. Post-manga (spoilers). Could be Aion/Joshua if you squint but not necessarily meant to be shippy.

Lilie refused to even consider Femio as an option at first — but then she realized how much that poor man needed comfort… 50 sentences of post-series Femio/Lilie cracky goodness, written for the 1sentence challenge on LJ.

Summary
A collection of 31 fics based on 31 prompts from the community 31_Days on LJ that I wrote back in 2007, all focused on Autor, with the intent to flesh out his backstory and character development. Slightly AU because of a mistake I made while writing them (although it doesn't directly contradict the show itself, just supplementary material). Currently an upload-in-progress! Tags will be updated as I upload--it's been long enough that I don't remember all the tags that would be applicable.
