Cole wasn't sure how to feel about Genji bringing Hanzo to Overwatch, not until he actually met Hanzo. If Genji was willing to forgive his gorgeous brother than obviously, Cole needed to make sure Hanzo felt welcome. It was completely altruistic, no ulterior motives at all.

Summary
For all Jayce knows, Viktor could be coming home to a spouse who loves him dearly and who Viktor loves just as much. Viktor could be coming home to a partner who’d kiss him in the doorway, and then they’d lay in their bed, sleep in that same bed, and do things in that bed, and Jayce is totally not jealous of a person that may not even exist. (Was the sarcasm in that last sentence clear enough?)
Jayce just wants to be sure that if he expressed his interest more clearly, he would not be risking Viktor’s pity and the wrath of Viktor’s lover when Viktor would eventually express his discomfort to his most loved person about working with the man who confessed to him.
So, when he sees Viktor walking by with a small girl holding his hand and looking exactly like Viktor, his hopes break. Because Viktor clearly has a daughter, and so there’s no way Viktor doesn’t have someone special in his life — the girl’s mother, for example.

Summary
Four years have passed since Viktor left for Demacia to receive the life-saving surgery he desperately needed, and now he's finally coming home. He knew that leaving would mean change, but even after having all this time to prepare, he doesn't know if he'll be able to acclimate himself to everything that's different -- most importantly, how his relationship with Jayce is different.

Summary
“… I never thought about you like that.” Jayce said, his voice quiet, face flushed, looking everywhere but Viktor’s eyes.
The thing was, Viktor hadn’t expected this particular outcome. For him, being rejected by Jayce was almost foreign, alien, a disturbing possibility in one of the most messed up alternative universes they inhabited. Because how could he reject him when Jayce's face illuminates every time Viktor enters a room, when he kisses him on the cheek, on the forehead and cuddles with him when Viktor’s pains would flare up. Why would he pull him into his arms and caress him into his sleep almost every night if he did not feel the same?
But reality proved itself ruthless, for no matter how many outcomes Viktor calculated, analyzed and thought through before his ultimate confession, nothing could beat the cruelty of the words his best friend uttered. The worst part was the kindness of it, how Jayce seemed more ashamed than anything else to have to reject him.
Or: Viktor confesses his feelings for Jayce and he -dumbly- believes he doesn’t feel the same, until reality proves him wrong.
