He felt Parker’s head bump against his shoulder as he was let down. Parker hadn’t yet let go of Flash’s hoodie, but he could feel the grip loosen. He didn’t let go of Parker’s wrists until he mumbled a small “ok” and pulled his hands away. He grabbed his stuff from the floor and glanced at Flash for a second before walking away.

"Jesus, Buck." Steve is bright red. And, Sam can't help but notice, he's starting to smell really good, his honey omega scent layering over Barnes’ alpha musk. He must be getting slick already just from Barnes’ proximity and obvious interest. "Sam's right there."
Barnes looks up at Sam and licks his lips. "Pretty."
The bolt of heat that one word sends through him is completely unexpected. His hormones must spike hard enough for the other two to smell, because Barnes' eyes go wide and Steve inhales sharply.
Sam's as shocked as they are. He doesn't know if it's the word (no one's ever called him pretty, is that an alpha thing?), the open desire on Barnes' face, or just the way he and Steve are twined together, their scents ramping up and spreading through the den.
"Pretty," Barnes says again, purring it this time. He holds out his free hand. "Sam. C'mere, gorgeous."

What was supposed to be a simple mission in the Rockies goes horribly wrong, and an injury compounded with severe weather conditions sends Logan into a reactionary heat.

Summary

His father "suggests" (read: demands) getting away for a few weeks, and offers to call up an old service buddy who owns a ranch on the East Coast, as far away from Huntington Beach as he can get. Keegan Russ, retired Sergeant and average blue collar Appalachian working man, reluctantly agrees to take the young man in as a hand for the harvest season. Neither expect to fall in love, but something about autumn in the mountains makes it hard to avoid.
