10 años después del ataque del Time Eater controlado por Eggman (Sonic Generations) Tails detecto una extraña energía años atrás en sus radares, dentro de esa pobre frecuencia encontró sus similitudes con la criatura temporal y la investigo, sin embargo, cuando van a buscar respuestas terminan encontrando una misteriosa criatura. Esta siendo un ser perdido en el tiempo y sin ningun recuerdo de su vida previa, que empieza a tener una conexión familiar con la forma de vida definitiva. Aun siendo escepticos, descubriendo poco a poco la verdad, tienen cuidado de como tratar a este ser. La pregunta sera que pasar cuando finalmente recupere sus recuerdos. Encontrara una nueva vida o volvera a su origen violento y destructivo.
