Summary
The Mall Incident goes a little differently. Instead of warning Ochacho to stay away, Izuku plays into her assumption that Shigaraki is a friend, and as a consequence, loses his chance to escape Shigaraki. Shigaraki’s obsession with him is taken to new heights, and various truths and misassumptions abound in the events to follow.

He’s going to destroy everything and I’m the only one who can stop him! All Might entrusted me with his quirk—the only quirk that can stand against All for One!"
The doctor smiled sympathetically. "Honey, All for One is very real, and most definitely a threat to our society, but he is not your father. Your father is Shigaraki Hisashi; the kind, caring man who funds this hospital and all our research into mental illnesses. They are not the same person. You were born quirkless, and have had a hard life because of it. I know it’s upsetting, but remember what we talked about before? You can't keep entertaining these delusions. Even if they make you feel better now, they aren't healthy for you in the long run."
Izuku slumped in defeat, allowing the doctor to lead him back to his plain white bed in his plain white room in this horrible, horrible plain white asylum. The one privately owned by his apparent "father" who had kidnapped him from his school and forcibly admitted him into the doctors’ care.

Summary
Last night, they went to bed in their dorms.
This morning, they woke up in either A) an abandoned building, B) unfamiliar apartments with unfamiliar school uniforms, C) a plush bedroom nicer than their entire house... or D) the League of Villains' headquarters, because of COURSE Izuku still manages to draw the shortest straw even when others are screwed over too.
UA tries its best to prepare its students for anything, but one topic it never covered: what to do if you wake up in an alternate dimension. Six students suddenly find themselves in an unfamiliar world where the balance between Heroes and Villains is more unstable than ever and they have no idea how they got there or to get home. All they know is that this world is horribly wrong, and they're largely on their own. (Well, except Izuku, but he thinks he'd prefer that.)

For as boring as the first day is, and the disappointment near the end of it, it's alright. It helps when people are so excited for Izuku, Hitoshi, and Katsuki to be officially starting their journey on the path to becoming heroes.
When that same disappointment from the first day persists to the second, Izuku expects the same from the third day—why wouldn't he? Except, no. It goes rather different.
