Tommy hummed, pulling one of his hands away to take a drink, and Gordon had to stop himself from chasing that warmth. Instead he squeezed Tommy’s remaining hand in his before he let go and ran his fingers through his hair.
Or, well, attempting to. He almost immediately got caught on a knot and winced. He’d taken a shower after the HEV suit was off, but he’d only had the energy to rinse off the blood and dirt. He most certainly had not brushed his hair.
Tommy seemed to notice, frowning slightly.
“Is your hair knotted?” He paused, and then: “...would you like me to brush it?”

Brainstorm was silent, field indicating nothing. Perceptor calculated whether it would be more logical or illogical to wait, and concluded the latter. Brainstorm made rapid decisions, and had not formerly needed encouragement to voice them, but that had been millions of stellar cycles ago. “I would appreciate promptness in your rejection.”
“Who said anything about rejecting?” Brainstorm tipped his head to the side. “I’m just trying to make sure I’ve got this straight in my processor. You performed ethically dubious, untested, methodologically uncertain engineering on yourself. Because you missed me.”
Perceptor deleted all of his emotions for a reason. After the Quintesson threat leads Optimus Prime to push through the Autobot-Decepticon Alliance, that reason no longer applies. Fixing the situation is going to take some trial and error...and a self-proclaimed genius.

Ratchet was vehemently against taking on an intern in his medbay; that didn’t change when they shoved the little red and orange diversity hire into his medbay and told him to teach. He moves the kid down to the Dead End clinic, and he doesn’t actually expect the kid to make a change, but he does.
Deadlock likes the new mech. He cares. He understands. And he’s determined to save the Dead End and Nyon from themselves.

Sam Witwicky and ancient relics had never exactly had the most stable of... err, relationships, for lack of a better word. To be specific, Cybertronian relics. To be even more specific, Sam Witwicky, Matrixes and the Primes.
After accomplishing what he first thought would be a suicide mission, Sam was whisked away to Cybertron, in a new frame, with new abilities, an old friend/pain in the aft stuck in his head, and a mission to save a world before doomed to destruction and death.
How saving and raising the sparkling, youngling and mechling selves of former allies, family and sworn enemies is supposed to do that, he has no idea. Well, at least they're cute.Hey, no no no, don't touch that!
