Instead, both men develop an alarming habit of seeking out the court jester.
Max would very much like them to stop.
(They do not.)
Or: the one where a prince, a high nobleman, and a fool spend forty-nine chapters falling hopelessly in love while dismantling the social hierarchy around them.

Examples include: illegally driving customer cars at 2am, following rumours about underground street races to the Birmingham docks, accepting a job at the Red Bull garage, getting emotionally attached to a Nissan Silvia S15, and developing feelings for Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar.
In Arvid’s defence, all of those things were heavily encouraged by the people around him.

Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar take one look at him standing at the edge of the underground racing circuit and immediately decide he has absolutely no survival instincts; someone should probably keep an eye on him, and Red Bull might as well claim him before another crew does.
