Directly after the events of The Beach Episode, Kinger finds himself remembering more than just Scratch. He leaves the others with their new basket of soaps and lotions to go confront Caine in his secret hideaway room.
What do you do when you create an imperfect being whose best is never enough? When the consequences of your actions catch up to you? Featuring a creator and his creation trapped between a cycle of grief and harm, and the yearning for a sense of connection.

Warrace sat on the old sofa and flicked lazily through the midnight television channels. He had almost given up on finding something interesting when a tiny sniffle lifted him from his phosphorescent- screened trance. Warrace looked at the doorway to the room, and squinted as his eyes adjusted to the darkness. A small figure stepped into the room, covering its face in its hands.
"... Pesty?"

In which Pesty needs comforting and Warrace is more than happy to oblige. Takes place sometime between Season 2's finale and the start of Season 3, but when I was writing I imagined it taking place in their old house they abandoned.
Edit: Howdy!! It’s been 3 years and I’m finally continuing the story! Chapter 1 works well as a stand-alone, but I really wanted to give Marvin his piece haha.
