Summary
Rui is the sorcerer who accidentally fell for a prince. He knows he’s stupid for it, but he always places a rose and a note at the aforementioned prince’s windowsill. He could get caught any day, and as such be fired and removed from the castle staff, but he can’t help himself. As time wears on, however, he starts thinking that the prince might return his feelings. That is, until he finds out that he’s to be married to a foreign princess. Rui realizes that maybe he’s wrong, that maybe the prince sees him as nothing but a friend. He decides to tell the prince how he feels, and if he doesn’t feel the same, then so be it.
Tsukasa is a prince who happens to be in love with the castle sorcerer who always forages in the plants beneath his window. And, each morning, he finds a rose and a beautiful note on his windowsill. However, his father wants him to marry a foreign princess, and no matter how much he wishes, he can’t be with the man who holds his heart. Or so he thinks.
