Summary
The main character- an unnamed Uchiha (who is definitely not related to Itachi, but somehow managed to survive the murder of her entire clan)- was a relatively powerful Leaf shinobi who had gone toe-to-toe with several Akatsuki members and lived to tell the tale.
She fought Deidara first, and left before the fight was over... He's still got a grudge over that.
But the real problem comes from her later fight with Itachi and Kisame- a fight she won. She only spared their lives so that Sasuke could exact his revenge against his brother.
Apparently, that was a mistake.
The entire Akatsuki's had it out for her, and they've been watching her. They waited until she was weakened from another battle, then sent Kakuzu and Hidan after her. They captured her alive, and they're bringing her back to the Akatsuki to, ah... Distract her. Keep her out of their way.
