Donnie took Frankie’s word for a lot of things. He had trusted his brother’s judgement since they were young. After all, Frankie was the older brother. He knew more than Donnie did. Donnie would follow Frankie through hell and back if he said so much as “trust me.”

Through trial, error, struggle, and pain, Donnie and Frankie never gave up on each other, but when life gets more difficult and things are suddenly flipped on their head, the two brothers need to learn how to forgive, forget, and adapt to change.

With the stress of running his tailoring shop undercover and trying to return to a normal life, he ends up being forced to unpack parts of his past he wasn't ready to process quite yet.

“F*ckin’ rat bastard kids,” Margery grumbled, grabing the broom from beside the door and leaning out. “Get out of here ya little shits,” she barked, watching the group of small village kids scramble onto their bikes and ride off laughing.
Margery leaned back in to put the broom away when she saw a familiar face stroll down the peach colored walkway, a brown handsewn bag slung over one shoulder and a football bag in the other hand.
__________A Derek and Titch story set after the events of the Unrelenting Aubergine, where James comes back for the weekend and has to try and get along with Titch who is still learning how to manage the farm on his own.
