.I had even forgotten why I dropped this fic, it's just atrocious when it comes to telling the story. It starts off slow and pleasant, then the author suddenly gets some burst of inspiration and starts throwing in a bunch of events all at once. If I’m not mistaken, it’s literally five different events happening at the same time, and the MC is involved in all of them, directly or indirectly. It’s just insane.
Then there’s that damn kidnapping, which the MC just accepts without much fuss. All calm, right? Until out of nowhere, a tournament starts. Like, what the hell? Why the fuck would a tournament just pop up like that? One of the laziest and most nonsensical tropes in stories like this is exactly that, a random-ass tournament that serves no purpose other than to hype up a protagonist who was already being highly praised. Just ridiculous.
Not to mention that void thing, which isn’t captivating in the slightest. Jesus.
