Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”
“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.

Summary
Rumor has it that HYDRA had created a program dedicated to experimenting on and weaponizing mutants. Mutants they couldn't control were slaughtered while others were trained into potential assets. However, these assets never saw the field because of HYDRA's collapse. Ever since then, their whereabouts and even their existence has been the subject of gossip in the intelligence community.
Bucky Barnes has never been one for gossip. But when he heard this rumor, he knew it to be true. He'd faced off against one of these mutant agents back when he'd been the Winter Soldier. The agent, in question, had been a little girl that could phase. After spending months reflecting, he realized, he too, wanted to know the whereabouts of these mutants.
He'd soon find out as he, Sam Wilson, Joaquin Torres, and John Walker would be sent on a mission to apprehend a trio of mutant vigilantes that had been having frequent run-ins with SHIELD. The men would then be hurled into the hidden underworld of mutantkind.

Jubilee took the small moment to wonder; did she need a hug? Did she want one? The answer was yes. She would love a hug at the moment, but Gambit was doing something.
“Yes please,” She answered in spite of what her thoughts told her. She wasn’t a burden, not here, and not with Gambit. She knew that, so she answered, though her voice was quieter than it normally would have been. The water was turned off and the mugs set to the side as Gambit walked back towards her, arms open. Jubilee quickly jumped up and ran into his arms. She relaxed as they enclosed around her, and her eyes fell closed for a moment.
It took Gambit rubbing her back and gently beginning to sway, rock, them for her to realize that she had started to cry too.

Summary
Everything Changes in the time it takes for Dick to pick up the phone.
Jason had been tortured by the Joker.
Dick runs back to Gotham, back in the city he grew up in to help his family heal.
And to make thing worse someone is following him.
“You didn’t come home last night.”
Dick jumps at the voice, nearly dropping the juice, surprised to see Bruce standing in the kitchen staring at him with a furrowed brow.
“Hey B.” Dick greets, setting the juice on the counter. “Are you okay? You’re not normally up yet?”
“Why didn’t you come home last night?” Bruce repeats, ignoring Dick’s question. “Did something happen?”
Dick opens his mouth, about to tell Bruce all about his run in with Tim, to ask if he’d heard anything about the Drakes recently. Then he takes a good look at Bruce and the question dies in his throat.
Dark circles carved deep into his face, scruffy unshaven face, gaunt cheeks, and worry clear in his dull eyes. Bruce had been worried about Dick, worried another son had just disappeared without a word. The guilt felt like it could swallow him whole.
“Patrol ran late.” Dick lies. “I ended up crashing at one of the safe houses.”
