Summary
Vi lost everything the night the fire took her family, while she was in prison.
Years later, she runs a bookstore-café with two other ex-cons, trying to move on—but a single question keeps her awake at night: What if Powder, her sister, survived?
One night, on a Seraphine fan forum, she stumbles upon a user named “Blue”: a quiet, sharp-tongued woman with a love of guns, cupcakes, and pink-haired pop stars.
Vi slides in her DMs looking for Powder.
But the more she talks to Blue, the less she wants her to be her sister.Or: an emotionally damaged Vi falls for a person online who might or might not be her sister. Angst, panic, and love ensue.

After the war, Vi calls Caitlyn her wife to anyone who will listen.

Summary
This is a collection of nights when Vi and Caitlyn get to know each other, explore their relationship, address their individual hardships, and, in general, learn to get better, together.
Points of view alternate, so Night 1 is Vi's POV, and Night 2 will be Cait's POV, etc.
This is mostly canon-compliant; I imagine scenes that could have happened when the cameras were not rolling.

*** Set during Season 2 Act 2***
Months after brutally abandoning Vi, Caitlyn finally gives in to her feelings of remorse and tracks her down. She discovers who Vi is when she no longer has anyone to protect: a shadow of her former self -self-destructing, fighting in a pit almost every night to buy drinks and forget her pain. But she's also the most sincere and purest version of Vi she's ever met. It's a different version from the one Caitlyn loves. But can one really love when one feels so guilty?

Summary
Vi has just kept Caitlyn from taking the shot at Jinx again. Caitlyn feels betrayed, and lashes out, hitting Vi with the butt of her rifle. After a few hours of spiraling, Caitlyn returns to where she hurt Vi.
This story offers an alternate follow-up to that gruesome sequence during episode 3 of Season 2. This is not the story of a real separation but a look into Caitlyn's mind, and how she and Vi could have started recovering from this.

Summary
Something was wrong with Sam, he knew it but also had no idea what it was. He had just returned from Edora and then the “other mission”. Now he was back and ready to move forward. But there was one problem: his 2IC wasn’t with him. Sure she was there, but only physically. She was avoiding him, not engaging. Jack felt the loss every day. Now he had to figure out both what was wrong and how to get to her. Sam, on the other hand, couldn’t tell. If she bore her soul and told him the real reason he would know how she felt about him. That alone could end her career, and if he didn’t return the sentiment, it could end much more. Nope, she needed to get over this and him all by herself. Which brings on the next problem, Jack wasn't willing to let it, or her go

Summary
From the start, Caitlyn’s relationship with Vi was three things: unexpected, unlikely, and, more than anything else, absolutely irreplaceable. She’d never imagined that the hot-headed, irreverent woman she’d met by chance would become her closest friend, the person she trusts above anyone else. Caitlyn would do anything to protect what they have, including fighting against the voice in her head wondering what would happen if they became more.
Then–a kiss, and a miscalculation. Caitlyn knows she has only one chance to make things right, one chance to prove to Vi that she is worth the risk.
One day to prove that the perfect, improbable pull between them is just the beginning.

Sweet post-canon where Vi addresses her fear of losing the only person she has left.

Summary
“It still doesn’t feel real,” Caitlyn said as they walked. “That the worst is over, that we’re standing on the other side.”
A flock of starlings swept free of the cliffs, and they paused to watch them go. Caitlyn adjusted the shawl again, the same wind that kicked the surface of the water into peaks blowing the hair back from her face. Vi’s breath lodged against her ribs, like a hand over her heart.
“Maybe there is no other side,” Vi said. “Maybe it’s all one thing.”

Caitlyn's got a house in the country, and Vi's got time.
