Summary
He woke up to a hammering heart and a damning pressure behind his eyes. His whole body was shaking, an unnatural, unreasonable cold seeping into his bones. The cold of a snowy island in the north covered in blood. A cold that should not exist here in the New World in his submarine under the calm wave.
Law pressed his palms into his eyes until sparks danced across the darkness of his vision and the imminent threat of tears was mostly gone. He counted in his head, slowly, the in and out of his breaths until he no longer felt like he was going to pass out from hyperventilation.
It was so cold.

.Law is sleep deprived, very sleep deprived. When he finally takes a nap and it only leads to a nightmare, he gives in and goes to try and get help from his friends, only to find two very different people sitting in their room.

Summary
He really had just been minding his own business, how was he supposed to know that business also happened to be the business of a very easily pissed off marine? Not that there were many marines that weren’t easy to piss off, he was pretty sure it was part of the job requirements at this point.
So, okay, maybe it was a little bit his fault that he and Penguin were currently sprinting down an alleyway with a good several dozen marines on their tail instead of hanging out on the Victoria Punk like they’d planned. They had at least already taken out about twenty marines between the two of them, but they just kept coming and they’d both made the very brave decision to make a run for it. A decision Shachi wasn’t entirely sure he was fond of now that he was dodging bullets.

.Shachi and Penguin get themselves into a bit of trouble, fortunately for them, Kidd and Killer are close enough to save their dumbasses. Even more fortunately for Shachi, they look hot as hell doing so. Even though that might be the concussion talking.

His foot slipped, sending him toppling, slamming his knee against the broken handle of what used to be a bike. A spark of pain. It didn’t matter. It would be fine. Kidd’s grimy hands reached out to grab onto a broken off piece of a mirror to pull himself up. The glass shards dug into his palm, slicing up his fingers. He didn’t care. It didn’t matter. He dragged himself up, ignoring the blood dripping down his arm. He was almost there. He was so close.
He kept running, he had to keep running, no matter how many times he fell, he just had to keep running, he’d be fine.
Something collided with the back of his head, a sharp jolt of agony sending him to his knees once more.
It was fine. It would be fine. He just had to get up, he just had to get up again.

“Marco! Breakfast ended like an hour ago, get the hell up!” He hadn’t heard that voice in years. It truly was cruel. He bit his lip and hugged the pillow to his face, trying to bury himself further into the fabric, if that was even possible.
“Marco!” The Thatch of his dreams slammed his fist on the door again. Cruel, too cruel. Marco’s knuckles went white with how hard he was clutching the pillow, feeling the fabric tearing under his grip.
Another knock, obnoxiously loud. Marco wanted to scream. He wanted to scream and cry and tell him to get the fuck away, to just stop! He wanted it all to stop! He knew he’d fucked up! He knew it already! Why the hell did they have to keep tormenting him!? Why did he have to see them over and over and know that every time he reached out they’d vanish into nothing but fire and blood!?

Summary
It had been casual, it really had been. They’d teased and pushed and smirked until they were a tangle of limbs and it was delicious. The two Kidd pirates didn’t push for them to take off more than they wanted to, leaving Shachi with his glasses and shit and Penguin to safely hide behind his hat and the many patches of unnecessary bandaging covering his body. In exchange, neither of them even touched Killer’s mask.
It was possibly the best sex of both Penguin and Shachi’s lives, combined, doubled, ever. Shachi hadn’t stopped talking about it for a week after and half of his dirty talk involved bright yellow eyes and soft golden hair.

Summary
Marco was not sure what he had expected when he had started scouting the North Blue for just the hint of a way to treat Pops' illness better. A lucky break perhaps, hoping to find the Ope Ope no Mi fruit that Haruta swore up and down had been spotted some two years back in that Blue.
Or perhaps a clue who had the fruit now.
He did not actually expect to find the current user of the Ope Ope no Mi - something that would have flown under his radar completely if he hadn't seen the child - because that was still a child - reattaching a floating limb. Golden eyes. Black hair. Way too short for his age - stunted health, probably due to malnourishment or sickness or both, Marco noted clinically. A tiny polar bear mink hiding behind him - Marco almost squeaked because what? And a rusted blade pointed at Marco's neck as soon as the First Division Commander made his presence known to the children.
Needless to say, Trafalgar Law was not what the Phoenix expected. But perhaps he was exactly what Pops needed.
Because Calypso help him, that was a new sibling in the making and he was adorable. Marco did his best to ignore the Phoenix crooning at the back of his mind. Chicklet. Mine.
