Summary
Peter doesn't know when it happened- when it started to be hard to get out from the bed- when it became hard to care about life around him. He only knows that it is hard to find energy to keep moving, to keep pretending, to keep showing up like nothing is wrong. It's just been a slow change from who he used to be- reactive, explosive- to this person who doesn't have energy to care what happens, not when every new day is getting harder to survive through.
Existing has become an effort. And trying to be fine, to look fine, to act fine is beginning to feel like lifting the world with shaking hands. He tells himself he’s just tired. That it will pass.
That it always does.But Stiles and Derek know something is seriously wrong- because Peter is silent, doesn't care about the world around him anymore. They both are present when Peter finally says it out loud- that it's getting harder to keep going.

Summary

That’s why it’s so fucking humiliating that—when he’s thrown into his cage at the tail end of the standard kidnap, torture, taunt, torture, throw in a cage routine—he can’t get himself to stop trembling like a whimpering little pup.

OR Derek is exhausted and this most recent kidnap and torture the werewolf routine is really getting to him, but Stiles swoops in and proves exactly why he's pack.
