Summary
In Eosian folklore soulmates were a gift bestowed on Solheim by Shiva and Ifrit after they fell in love; a gift that persisted even after Solheim fell. Every human had one, some even had multiple, and every myth, legend, and fairy tale had them riding off into the sunset and living happily ever after.
But life wasn't a fairy tale. Real life was messy and complicated, especially when politics, prophecies, and sometimes having a soulmate hurt. There's no guarantee of a happy ending, but did that mean a happy ending wasn't in the cards for our pair of unlikely soulmates?
