Summary
Crescent City is home to some of the world's most infamous villains: The Good Pastor, Lady Lash, King Kudzu, The Rat Bastard, and dozens more. The only thing they all have in common is that all of them at some point or another have employed Konrad as a henchman.
If there's something you need done to further your evil scheme, he can do it. If you need something built, he can build it. He's been at this longer than some heroes have been alive (Looking at you, Sparrow), and was already experienced when Crescent City gained its own protector in the form of glowering gargoyle Vengeance and his tag-along Sparrow (the first one).
He's worked for evil villains, courageous heroes, gritty vigilantes, and amoral NGOs alike. The only person he's never worked for is himself.
These are some of his stories, connected by only the loosest strands of continuity and canon.

Summary
Arturo was 17 when he was thrown into Gotham beaten, broken, and entirely ignorant about the city he found himself in. In the near twenty years since, he's learned. Through mob jobs and henching gigs and street-gang wars, he's come to understand Gotham inside and out. And if he's learned anything, it's that you can't trust a Lupu, you can't trust an Alvarez, and you sure as hell can't trust that fucking Crime Alley Kid.
Now if only he could make his Boss understand that as well before it's too late.

Summary
Perfectly normal Crime Alley street-thug Conrad has been having a hell of a month.
In quick order he learned/unintentionally worked out that:
*The rando he'd been chilling/flirting with online was actually his boss' boss, The Red Hood
*Red Hood was actually the Second Robin
*Hood's estranged father figure, The Batman, was actually infamous crime boss and former dinner guest at his parents, Matches MaloneNow, Hood's going to fully demask for Conrad because everyone but Batman has agreed it's only a matter of time at this rate.
And sure, this is going to throw their whole casual Hench-With-Benefits relationship into uncharted waters. And sure, it's going to tie Conrad into Gotham's cape scene in ways he's spent the past decade trying to avoid. And sure, seeing your Boss unmasked goes against every Henching rule that'd been beaten into his head growing up, but it's Robin asking. How can you say no to Robin?
At least it's clear that Red Hood is most likely one of Matches Malone's infamous legion of nephews and stepkids, so there'll be no further shocking revelations there, right?

Summary
It's a world of grim-faced vigilantes and colorful crimedoers. It's a world were one city has a dark fearsome protector while another has a bright vibrant flying man who can rip a car apart with his bare hands. A world where "Standing in the background monitoring a giant computer while your Boss monologues at a bound superhero" is a valid career path. A world were some people are just born with the ability to take a few random computer parts and a broken alarm clock and somehow build a functional raygun out of it all.
It's a world we've seen many times before, but this one isn't violating anyone else's copyrights so we can just go buck wild with it.

Summary
Conrad is just your average Crime Alley street-rat.
Ignore how most of his extended family actively Hench for various Rogues, he went no-contact years ago.
Ignore his unreal fighting ability and expansive range of random skills, it's the bare minimum of what anyone would need to make it to 20 while homeless in Crime Alley.
Ignore the Red Hood's attempts at flirting with him, he's pretty sure he's just misinterpreting his overboss' perfectly platonic actions.
Ignore the people who say he comes back from the dead, no one around here knows how to check for a pulse.
Ignore the Bats, he's certainly trying to. Whatever they're after, it's certainly not him.
He's just a completely normal Crime Alley kid, after all.

The Stone Gryphon is a sprawling Spare Oom story of war, espionage, immoral acts done in service of moral ends, natural history, dinosaurs, Alice in Wonderland, cunning corvids, tequila, D-Day, theology, spirituality, love and sex. If the Dawn Treader can be on the wall of a spare bedroom in Impington, Narnia can be found in other places, too. The Friends of Narnia just have to learn where to look. And upon returning from Narnia, the Pevensies probably didn't just sit around waiting to die in a fiery train wreck.

Without a doubt, the best "The Pevensie siblings post-Narnia" stories I've yet to encounter. Only one story in (Oxfordshire 1942) and I can already tell this is one that'll be lingering in my mind for years. Highly recomended.
