Summary
Kate Bishop is a failure of an FBI agent. She constantly screws up stakeouts because of her anxious nature and maybe blows things up a little too often. Her motto is that she'll do better on the next one, a quote her squad is a little tired of hearing.
However, there won't be a 'next one'. She's far past second chances and her most recent mission has cemented that fact. But instead of being given The Boot, Kate is made an offer she can't refuse. Maria Hill, the ADIC of the FBI's New York Field Office, says that if she can get them an 'in' with the Vostokoff family, Kate can keep her job.
Young, reckless, and headstrong, Kate Bishop wouldn't miss out on an opportunity to stay in the FBI for anything. Even if it meant she had to seduce The Tracksuit Mafia's heiress, Yelena Belova.

“What’s up Susan?” Kate asked, smiling around a mouthful of pasta.
“Would you like to go out with me some time?” The widow grinned, a little bashful as she pushes a strand of her hair behind her ear. “We can have some drinks at a dive bar a few blocks down before we leave.”
The archer slowly places the spoonful of pasta down onto her plate. “Sorry Susan, but I actually have a girlfriend."
Susan pouts, though not too upset about the rejection. With a curious look, she asked. “Who?”
Yelena sees the cogs turning in Kate’s head, and the mischievous glint in her eyes as their eyes met for a second, before they return to Susan. The archer’s lips growing into a smirk.
“Yelena.”

“Oh, yes. It is Kate.” The tall woman’s face, Kate, was red as if she was just recognizing her mistake.
“I am not finding anything under Kate.”

Kate Bishop, unfortunately, is a person made entirely out of weird little memories. Lost teeth. Embarrassing childhood stories and dumb accidents that should have been forgotten twenty years ago but somehow became treasured moments.
One beach, some non-alcoholic beer and Thirty-two teeth 2x. A LOT of small talk. Two highly trained Avengers who could absolutely take down an alien invasion but need an entire afternoon to figure out how kissing works.

“I wanted to give this one with my number on it, but I got told she doesn't meet anyone, or at least she didn't wanna meet me, so I’m a little butt hurt.” She jokes. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows but I get it- she has to save her voice for the 35 songs that she sings for the whole concert.”
“Kate! Are you going to shoot your shot right here on the podcast?”
“I mean…” The archer gives a playful shrug. “I don’t miss the shots I take. So-um, Miss Belova, do you want to go on a date?"

Kate takes a gulp of her gatorade just as Yelena blurts out her new wish.
"Bishop, ever think of getting pregnant?"
Kate spits out her drink. A little gets on their wedding photo. They had both wanted to wear the tux. Alexei had been a mess. It had been lovely. More of the drink gets on Fanny, which causes Kate to wipe the dog down with a takeout napkin, telling the canine she was sorry.
Kate Bishop is the only person Yelena has heard apologizing to an animal. Totally cool of her.
Kate nods, "yeah. She says once Fanny and the photo are once again clean," I have thought about it."
"Something to consider is all." Yelena says, feeling a little flushed.
"I think... maybe something to discuss the possibilty and timing of."
Oh... Yelena thinks, thats a hot thought.
It was first and foremost, a promise of giving someone what she herself never could have.

That piqued Yelena's interest; she had gotten used to this life and wasn't looking forward to running from the American government just because Eleanor Bishop was being petty. "Fine, but if it involves boomerang arrows, I am walking away."
"We're in your bedroom. Where would you go?"
"To your place and leave you here. I would lock you out, too."
With a sigh, Kate finally turned to look at Yelena, her face more serious than Yelena had been expecting. "We could always get married."
