“You've got something, but you don't wanna tell me what,” Luffy says, surer this time. Their voice is as light as the campfire, but it burns with the heat of the blaze. Zoro would never wish an immortal life upon anybody, but the fire in Luffy makes it hard not to dream.
[A canon-era phoenix!au from Shimotsuki Village to Water 7. Zoro catches fire. Luffy catches feels. They're both kinda smart but still pretty stupid about it].

Summary
The whole mountain glows with it, and that colour seems to seep into Chopper’s hat, too. It turns the same shade as the cherry blossoms blooming above Drum mountain.
Tears gleam on Chopper’s cheeks as Luffy kneels next to him in the snow and whispers, “They’re the most beautiful colour you can imagine. And when you can see it, I’ll find us an island where the cherry blossoms bloom the same shade that they do here.”
When, not if, he thinks as Chopper turns wide and teary eyes on him, and when he offers the reindeer a grin, Chopper hesitantly grins back.

Summary
Technically, Magical X-Men was something Magneto knew he should hate with every fiber of his being not devoted to hating ignorant humans. It was animated for one. For two, it featured an unbelievably optimistic protagonist whose adventures were, in addition to being flagrantly unrealistic, a method of inculcating wrong-headed lessons about how everyone could love each other and protect the earth and make the world a better place. Finally, it exercised an unreasonable attraction that turned every fan of the Magical X-Men into simpering, squealing teenagers. Only Magneto seemed immune.

From a set of sleek, silver and white offices on Fifth Avenue and with her trusty, stylish, and silent partner Janos Quested, Emma has built Frosted Hearts into New York City's premiere dating service, built on the principle that money, and a sufficiently rigorous psionic scan, can, in fact, buy you love.
Somewhere in Frosted Hearts's server is one Charles Xavier, genius and geneticist, with the kind of nicely-starched good looks that sell well on brochures for New England prep schools. He's also a telepath who's decided to give up pursuing serious relationships and instead spend his thirties doing what he should have done as a teenager: have a lot of sex with random people. Fortunately for him, Erik Lehnsherr, metallokinetic and engineering executive, has absolutely no time in his heart or his schedule for anything more serious than... well, absolutely nothing romantic at all.

The weird thing is, Charles always introduces Raven as his sister, but he never calls Erik his brother. Erik would be bothered, except he prefers not to think of Charles as his brother, either. He can’t figure it out for four years, and then suddenly he can.
Or. A non-powered AU in which Sharon Xavier never remarries, and Charles 'adopts' not only Raven, but Erik too.

Erik is in his ~50s, and lonely and bitter. He survived the Holocaust and was only ~14 when the war ended; and even ~40 years later, living in a country that helped to end WW2 and the Third Reich, homosexuality is still a taboo topic. Then one day, he stumbles over Charles, who is young(early 20s) and bright and smart and cheeky and full of energy and beautiful. And moving in the same street where Erik lives.
