He had tried asking Tanrak why he was staring at him that way once before. But Tanrak only blinked at him dumbly, as if he was broken out of his trance, and he didn’t even answer his question before he moved onto another topic, treating Baht’s question as if it was just passing noise and wasn’t meant for him. And now, Baht believes that he will receive the same response from him if he asks the same question again.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Baht asked.
Just like he had guessed, Tanrak blinked a few times in response as if he just got pulled back to his consciousness.
“We should get going.” And he dismissed his question again.

Baht has been noticing that Tanrak always stares at him, especially when he's changing in front of him, or whenever they showered together. When Baht confronted him about it, Tanrak told him that he was confused about his feelings, and Baht offered to help him figure his feelings and sexuality out.
