Summary
A fight with Eddie, some distance with Robin and his parents being home was more than enough for Steve to believe some cosmic force was against him. The demogorgon showing up and Steve nearly dying just cemented that. Figuring out how it appeared, mending relationships and uncovering secrets would fix everything. Right?
Or, after a car crash resulting from the sudden appearance of a demogorgon; Steve, Eddie, Robin and Nancy try to rid Hawkins once again of the monster's presence. Of course with a healthy dosing of dealing with trauma and relationship turmoil along the way.

Summary
Eddie gets the shock of his life when he sees Steve in cut-off shorts and nothing else to promote the repair shop he works at. As an excuse to see him as often as possible, Eddie starts going to the shop for things he could easily fix at home, and gets a second shock when he finds out that Steve is openly bi.
༒༒ Excerpt ༒༒
Eddie had ‘Fuel’ by Metallica blasting loud enough to disturb a quiet neighborhood while he sped down a main street. Recklessly, yet skillfully, he swerved between cars, going well above the speed limit. He was drumming on the steering wheel of a black 1970s Pantera in tune with the music. The chorus of the song came in and Eddie shouted along with it. “Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desi—” he choked on the last word and nearly slammed on his breaks. For half a second, he saw the nicest ass he’d ever laid eyes on, scantily clad in torn denim. Without a second thought, he turned the car around and drove the wrong way down the road in order to pull into a gas station beside, what he now could see, was a repair shop.

Summary
The last time this happened he was deemed a disappointment, but as long as he found a job he knew he wasn't going to have to worry about his parents too much.
That’s what brought Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley together. She was the only good thing to come out of him failing his senior year. They met working an awful retail job at the mall, and they bonded over the trauma from sticky kids crying for ice cream and their manchild of a manager. It was a fast and easy relationship that could only be described as Platonic soulmates with a capital P. His pretty head of hair had mistaken it briefly as romantic soulmates, but the freckle-faced girl put an end to that real quick.
Walking into Hawkins High as a super senior was humiliating. He’d had a stern talking to from his father the night before.
“Steven, you better get your head out of your ass. Stop screwing around and get this done. You were supposed to start your internship this year..."
-Or-
Steve and Eddie are back in Hawkins High for their third go at senior year. Will they make it across the stage in the end?
