Summary
Except good things did not last in his life for more than five minutes. And, yes, he might’ve been ignoring the sluggish feverishness all morning. But hey it wasn’t his fault. He truly thought he was just a little tired from all the playing with the pack during this vacation. It had been a gradual rise throughout the day but when he did notice, it was already too late.
He halted before he’d stumble face-first into the snow in derision. His mind was swimming with his sudden need, vision turning darker around the edges.
His heats were always intense and sporadic; no matter how much he tried tracking, it’d always hit him when he least expected it. Because, of course, it was. Why would he, Stiles Stilinski, have anything the easy way in his life. Which was why once it hit, it was super difficult to keep his thoughts straight.
Or, the one where Derek and Stiles go snowboarding and Stiles' heat occurs.

The first time Sam met Stiles he had no idea who the Omega was, nor did he have any clue that the Omega was already in a series relationship. When he met Stiles, he was hungover and had a massive pounding headache that was killing him to have his eyes open. The Alpha instantly ran to the nearest bathroom to puke in the toilet, before splashing cold water in his face and sighing with relief when the pain was barely there anymore. Flushing the toilet he left the bathroom so he could make himself a cup of coffee, and then start figuring out how to make the best first impression with the other Alpha’s in the fraternity.
Now all he wanted to do, when he spotted the Omega was get all up on that cute ass.

Stiles took a deep breath, his gaze dropping from Derek’s as he turned to look back in the vanity's mirror. He looked at Derek’s distorted image in the reflection, noting how he could only see part of Derek’s body—his hand, adorned in rings, wrapped around the handle of an ornate cane.
The image of a powerful man, who did not belittle himself for the sake of an uncle's bastard.
Derek was much more than the rumors speculated, and Stiles was intrigued by that.
