    “Don’t try and sit up yet…” She hands her the glass of water.

    Tachyon takes it with both hands and attempts a grateful smile but it's smaller than usual and she can’t seem to pry her eyes up off of the blanket draped across her torso. It’s clear from the ripples in the cup that her hands are shaking slightly, but she seems to be gripping hard, trying to get a handle on it.

    Unfocused eyes pointing forward, she speaks again. “Do you, perhaps, know what may have happened…?”

    Cafe stares at her, frowning. “That was my question for you…”

    Tachyon starts at this, seemingly caught off guard. She stares wide-eyed back at Cafe, a deer caught in the headlights of her discerning gaze. Though, it’s less than half a second before she blinks again and smiles wide, remembering herself. She averts her gaze towards the ceiling, “Welllllllll…”
