Since horror did not seem to bother him as much anymore, Life had decided to find a new way to make sure he'll never forget the sting of vomit in his mouth. In this case, it seemed like Seth was no longer allowed to know peace when it came to meals.
He let out a sigh as he walked back out, his legs having finally stabilized.
Seth stared at the barely touched plate on the table and almost felt pity for the hard work the cooks must have put into it. Thankfully though, he had never had to send back a full plate back to the kitchen.
Or: After the World Congress, Seth finds himself plagued with numerous problems his anomalies will do their best to cure!
Or or: 5 times Seth's anomalies took care of him after the World Congress, 1 time Kyle did

Seth took a deep breath, adjusting the camera Jamie had sent him specifically for this stream one last time before clicking on the link.
There was a small banner on which a chibi Jamie illuminating the text "Stream will start soon!" with a complementary horror game flashlight was displayed, a taller chibi standing right behind him and staring him down.
Was that meant to be Seth? Why did he make him look so intimidating?
Or: Seth goes live and through a series of manipulation, the stream became a Containment Department's q&a!
Or or: Author was tired of coming up with a plot so they have relegated the work to the readers' intrusive thoughts by making the cast react to their comments

"I appreciate it, but no." He quickly said, shaking his head as he attempted to stop Seth's bleeding. "I'm not interested."
"…" Hermes was back at studying him. "I could teach you how to use your Nodes effectively though."
"I'm not interested." Kyle repeated himself, impassive. "I would rather take over the orphanage than go and risk my life in gates."
Or: Kyle's (very speculative, very self-indulgent) reasons to hate anomalies and go into this line of work.

SPOILERS UP TO CHAPTER 126
Kyle woke up with a gasp, jolting into a sitting position. His vision swarm, his mind both reeling from the nightmare but also from the lack of light, before it thankfully adjusted, putting the familiar surrounding of his room in display.
Another nightmare.
"I can't go on like this." Kyle groaned, frowning as he sat up and swung his legs to the side. It had already been a few nights of this circus and he had no idea how long he could take this. The fact he had been too busy to go visit Seth all this time was not helping so if work would not allow him to go check up on him, he would make time himself.
Or: Kyle, following what happened with the Twisted Man, cannot sleep without making sure Seth's okay.
Or or: Anobros have a sleepover!
Author's rating: 8/10 - I've had this fic idea marinate for a long time and finally getting to write it was SUCH a relief! While I like it, some parts have definitely been a bit unique and I feel like I could have done a better job at this... I've also scrapped a bunch of idea there too. I loved writing Anobros's banter though!

Kyle began sipping on his coffee, wishing he could have had it replaced with something stronger as he listened to Rowan talk. Perhaps some wine or booze.
"So you see, I'm going on a date with Seth next Friday—"
Yeah, if he could just— Wait, what the hell did he just say?!
"You're going on a WHAT with WHO?!" Kyle yelled as the rest of his colleagues watched, with the same gaping expression as Zoey, Rowan's blushing, almost bashful, expression.
Or: Rowan, after successfully bribing Seth into a date, attempts to convince his future brother-in-law to wingman him.
Author's rating: 9/10 - Undoubtedly my most appreciated post in the fandom... While this was written more as a joke than anything, I've accidentally turned some of my readers into genuine Roseth shippers so uh... oops? I have taken great care into writing this work though so I am not displeased with that outcome. I definitely feel like some parts of the last chapter were a bit rushed and some might have been drawn out too long. I still like it though!
