    Mick held him closely as they sat on the couch, taking a sip of his beer before leaning onto Jeremy's side, resting the back of his head on the couch.

    "Do... do yah ever think we will have what we used to have?" he asked softly.

    . Jeremy looked up. The question lingered for a moment as the kids raced around the couch playing pretend. Then he reached up, pulled Sniper's hat over his eyes, and smiled.

    "Nah..." Jeremy's eyes drifted off of Mick and onto his kids, all huddled up together on the floor watching TV. " I like where we're at right now."
