Inspired by that wonderful scene in Chapter 10 of ArwaMachine's 'To Stand Before the Storm' where Sherlock is contemplating his relationship with John whilst staring at the single tree on Blasket Island.
This scene, in particular, broke me into pieces, so I painted it and here is the result. Enjoy.
