Callisto wanted to see more.
As he stands in his ruined gallery, his apprentice torn to shreds, and his body weakened, all he can think of is just what he could have done equally to see more and to create that artwork everyone could have apricated. With his request to hear about that horrid and wonderful sights, all he can think of is what he did wrong. In that moment of self-realization, an epiphany is reached. One that gives him the strength to try and force those sights into his view, if only for a brief moment.
But by doing so, he's gone against the script and messed with powers beyond his comprehension. That act caused him to be flung through the worlds until he lands somewhere...strange. Not at all like the city, and yet a new ruin is upon it. So many different hues and shades to see, all while he learns to find new forms of beauty. Not just in the corpus that he crafts, but in the strange people that he will be surrounded by.
By contrast, Sam wants to not be murdered and turned into a meat statue by the strange 9ft tall robotic diva artist that's crashing at his house.

Lei Heng didn't know why he was here.
The last thing that he remembered was having his head smashed by Tiangang Star after his attempt to kill the hierarch. Instead, he found himself in a new land where monsters of shadow roam, a power call aura is known, and bullets are practically growing on trees. What's a former Capo to do when he's surrounded by the unfamiliar.
Simple, whatever he wants.
Now without the leash of the different Fingers on him, Lei Heng takes the opportunity to go as wild as he wants. There's a whole world of challenge in front of him, and he's going to dive headfirst into it and start slashing. Figuring out the how's and why's he ended up here don't really matter, if someone wanted him to accomplish some grand goal they should have left him some instructions. Since they didn't Lei Heng's only got one plan to follow.
Get into as many fights as he can.

Summary
Don Quixote, a 4th generation Methuselah of a bloodline erased from history, has spent centuries in a light house reading stories after drinking from the River Lethe and losing her memories. Through mysterious circumstances, her bloodline is capable of producing Glamour. And she is a font of glamour that is quite intense indeed.
She has finally decided it is time to go on her own adventure. An ancient vampire has decided she is a Knight of Justice on a quest to slay monsters and defeat foul villains. The World of Darkness will never be the same.
(Inspired by Limbus Company, though it's only the Character Don Quixote herself, and her backstory. Nothing else from Limbus Company is really going to appear in this, I think. So you don't need to understand Limbus Company to enjoy this story. It is fully within the World of Darkness. Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, Changeling: The Dreaming, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, etc.)
