Maybe Crowley is pushing it.
He and Aziraphale had always been – clingier than expected. After the fall, Hell had believed, angels and demons couldn’t touch each other. It had turned out to be but a ridiculous assumption; angels and demons could touch each other just fine. The main issue was that angels, by default, weren’t clingy creatures. Demons were, made to lust and anger and all.
(And, in any case, holding hands from time to time or patting the angel’s back is hardly comparable with the desire Crowley had to push his cock inside Aziraphale’s cunt).
