Summary
Felix is very small.
That is a truth that rings so loud and universal that it feels as natural as to say that art occupies a major part of his life, and daffodils bloom in spring.
On most days, Hyunjin manages to be normal about it.
He stopped feeling the ache in his teeth. The tingling in his fingertips. Hyunjin has grown into a well-adjusted individual that no longer suffers a conflicting need to dig his fingers into all of Felix's soft bits, to watch his skin bloom red and violet from it, and also tuck him between his ribs and keep him warm and safe there. Most days, he can watch Felix’s very small and very soft hand land anywhere on his body and not feel the twisting and coiling of something hot and sticky settle behind his navel, press against his breastbone. Most days, he resists the urge of gripping and grabbing, and doing something vaguely worse.
That is, most days.
Today isn’t one of those days.
Hyunjin suffers a bunch of conflicting emotions around Felix. He decides to do something about it.

"Tonight's all about you," Chan continued. "But…we want it to be fun for us too, so we came up with a little idea. Do you want to know what that is?"
Changbin wasn't sure he did, but he knew Chan was going to tell him anyway. His boyfriends’ ideas of having 'fun' with him, though, was often more fun for them than it was for him.
"We wanna test you," Hyunjin told him. "More specifically, we wanna test your multitasking abilities. Doesn't that sound fun?"
Changbin's heart sank. If there was one thing he was notoriously bad at, it was doing multiple things at once. He just couldn't concentrate on several tasks, he had to give his full focus to one thing otherwise his brain glitched and he fell apart.
And his boyfriends loved it. They were always teasing him and laughing as he fumbled and made a fool of himself. He couldn't imagine what kind of tasks they would make him do tonight but he knew it would be hard and that they would take immense joy in watching him struggle.

As Felix lay crumpled on the ground, soft, fluffy snowflakes begin to flutter from the sky, blanketing him and the forest floor in a fine layer of powdery white.
