This is a collection of Kaeya/Albedo, non-linear one-shots. There is no over-arching story, as the chapters will be written based off of my favorite tropes or randomly generated prompts. If there is any chapter that becomes more than 1 part, it will be noted. Additionally, there will be some chapter that are not set within the Genshin Impact universe. Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

“I’m not trying to pick a fight.”
“Well, great,” Diluc seethes. “Because I’m not, either.”
Kaeya chuckles, not bothering to look at Diluc. “Yes, you are.”
“I don’t even care enough to bother trying to fight with you.”
“You’re always trying to fight,” Kaeya tells him, and does not elaborate.
It’s not true. Like usual, Kaeya’s just talking out of his ass. Diluc is perfectly level-headed. Diluc is perfectly under control. Kaeya’s the one who needs to reign it in, who needs to get himself together, and Diluc would tell him exactly that—if he was looking for a fight. Which he is not.

When a simple mission in Dragonspine goes south and leaves Kaeya injured, it falls on Diluc to get both of them back home in one piece. If he manages not to murder Kaeya himself, of course.
