“A present,” Kurusu replies. It’s exactly the kind of answer Kokoro would have expected her to give, and therefore exactly the kind of answer Kokoro would have written off as being terribly unlikely, because why the hell would Akira Kurusu randomly start giving her presents, what the hell.
“Am I to…open it?”
Kurusu’s mouth quirks into a tiny smile. “That’s usually what one does with presents, yeah.”
Kokoro Akechi is doing a great job of lying to everyone about her true intentions, especially Akira Kurusu, thank you very much.

Summary
This is the first time Akira’s been asked to accompany Kokoro on one of her work trips, meaning it will be the first time she’ll be meeting Mitsuru Kirijo herself. And so, as the two of them are walking to the restaurant where Mitsuru is apparently waiting, she asks, “What am I walking into here?”
“Nervous?”
“Of course not,” Akira lies. “Just wouldn’t want to cause any problems for you.”
“You love causing problems,” Kokoro says, rightfully dismissive. “But there’s nothing for you to worry about. Mitsuru Kirijo is exceedingly rich and always seeking opportunities to rectify that fact. Just think of yourself as a sponge I’m offering my employer to mop up her obscene wealth with. Leave everything else to me.”
Akira Kurusu accompanies Kokoro Akechi on a business trip and meets her coworkers.

Now you have to keep going, it says. You don’t get to run away.
The future is waiting for Kokoro Akechi and she does not like it.

I LOVE Akechi's pov in this one. Every little description in the narration is clearly filtered through her warped little perspective, it's really well done

Summary
The glass of the Rage Vial was thin and delicate, like sugar glass: if Akechi wasn’t careful and applied a bit too much pressure, it could very well shatter all over his hand. This was purposeful, as it was easier to throw a potion on an enemy than force the concoction down their throat. If Joker refused to comply, he might have to do just that.
Joker came closer, as if to confirm what he was seeing. His eyes flitted up to Akechi’s beneath his mask, not even needing to vocalize his ‘why?’
“It’s like you said,” Akechi explained, “we don’t want to leave anything unresolved, do we?”
In a final ditch attempt to prolong the inevitable, Ren challenges Akechi to a rematch on his last night alive. Unfortunately for him, Akechi has a surprise planned to level the playing field and set the score straight, once and for all.
